23:05 CET - Some late results to bring you from the ATP and WTA across both sides of the Atlantic. The final game of the day in Dubai saw Hubert Hurkacz (27) prevail against Pavel Kotov (24) in straight sets as he continues his good run of form.

Elsewhere in Santiago, there was middling Spanish success with Juame Munar (25) winning on the clay courts of Chile, however compatriot Roberto Carballes Baena (29) was beaten in two sets by Yannick Hanfmann (31).

19:35 CET - Just days after defeating Andy Murray (35) in the Doha Open final, Daniil Medvedev (27) continued his good momentum. Defeating Alexander Bublik (25) in Dubai with a 6-4, 6-2 result.

Remaining in the UAE, Berna Coric (26) defeated Australian Thanasi Kokkinakis (26) by 7-6, 3-6, 5-7.

18:16 CET - Novak Djokovic (35) stormed into the quarter-finals of the Dubai Tennis Championships with a 6-2 6-3 thrashing of Tallon Griekspoor (26), swiftly returning to his best form at a tournament he has won five times.

A day after being taken to three sets by Czech qualifier Tomas Machac (22), Djokovic was back to his ruthless best and blasted past a shell-shocked Griekspoor to take the first set with two breaks of serve.

16:13 CET - In a surprising turn of events Lorenzo Sonego (27) defeated world no.9 Felix Auger-Aliassime (22) in the 1/8 finals of the Dubai Open. The Italian prevailed with a 7-6, 6-4 result.

It followed Alexander Zverev's (25) triumph over Christopher O'Connell (28) by 7-5, 6-4.

15:33 CET - Andrey Rublev (25) was pretty pleased with his hard-fought comeback win over Alejandro Davidovich Fokina (23) in Dubai. You can hear his post-match thoughts below.

13:40 CET - An action-packed Wednesday is underway in Dubai. In the day's first match,  Andrey Rublev (25) came back from losing the first set heavily to beat Alejandro Davidovich Fokina (23) 1-6, 7-6, 7-6.

Soon after that, Botic Van De Zandschulp (27) defeated Mikael Ymer (24) to set up a quarter-final meeting with second-seed Rublev. See the highlights from both those matches below.
