There’s one week until the year's second Grand Slam begins at the French Open, and many players will be looking to get themselves into gear over the next seven days. There is ATP action for you in Lyon and Geneva, while the WTA Tour heads to Strasbourg and Rabat this week. As usual, we will have all the highlights, news and reaction for you around the tennis world.

12:40 CET - In the first result to come in from Lyon, Miomir Kecmanovic (23) has beaten Oriol Roca Batalla (30) 6-1, 6-3.

9:20 CET - Medvedev (27) rose to number two in the world rankings ahead of the French Open by capturing the Rome title on Sunday and the Russian said his unexpected win on clay counts as one of his most special triumphs.
