19:36 CET - Unlucky for France's Benjamin Bonzi (26) who was 4-1 down in the opening set to Stefanos Tsitsipas (24) but had to concede the match through injury. Third-seed Tsitsipas is given a walkover into the last 16.
19:01 CET - Today's ATP Flash Moment of the Day comes from Lorenzo Sonego's incredible return against Ugo Humbert (24). The 27-year-old went on to reach the last 16 in Monte Carlo with a 3-6, 7-5, 7-5 win.
18:36 CET - Dan Evans (32) has crashed out of the Monte Carlo Masters to qualifier Ilya Ivashka (29). Britain's number two won the opening set on Court 2, but fell to the 74th seed 6-2, 2-6, 3-6.
17:55 CET - Novak Djokovic (35) is through to the next round despite a battling Ivan Gakhov (26) valiantly taking the first set to a tie-break. The 2015 champion eventually won 7-6 (7-5), 6-2.

14:42 CET - Sixth seed Andrey Rublev (25) eventually got the better of Jaume Munar (25) but had to come from behind after losing the opening set to win 4-6, 6-2, 6-2.
13:24 CET - Jiri Lehecka (21) defeated Emil Ruusuvuori (24) 6-1, 7-5 to progress to the next round while Lorenzo Sonego (27) rallied against Ugo Humbert (24) and ended victorious after a three-hour match 3-6, 7-5, 7-5.
13:20 CET - Alexander Zverev (25) survived an almighty scare against Alexander Bublik (25) with the world number 16 losing the first set before coming back to win 3-6, 6-2, 6-4.
7:02 CET - The lingering effects of a 2021 wrist injury limited Dominic Thiem's (29) ability to generate power last year, but the former world number three said he can rely on his big weapons again after making a strong start at the Monte Carlo Masters.
Thiem broke the Grand Slam stranglehold of Roger Federer, Rafa Nadal and Novak Djokovic by winning the 2020 US Open but the injury sidelined him for months and other niggles saw him slip down the rankings to number 352 last June.
After a first-round exit at the Australian Open in January, and disappointing performances in the tournaments that followed, Thiem made the quarter-finals of the Estoril Open and beat Richard Gasquet 6-1 6-4 in his opener in Monaco.
