Lukaku still out of the World Cup, missing the first two matches
The condition of Romelu Lukaku (29), who is struggling with a left thigh injury has been dragging on since the start of the season, and it continues to cause concern.
The Belgium striker has not yet recovered from the injury and did not train with his teammates on Sunday morning, instead doing separate training. The Nerazzurro should be back available for the match against Croatia on 1 December: he will therefore miss the first two matches on Wednesday against Canada and Sunday against Morocco.
A few days ago, anticipating his absence in the first World Cup match, coach Roberto Martinez had said that: ''Lukaku is making progress, but his recovery will take some time: we are following the established programme''.
A condition that does not reassure the fans, especially those of Inter, who had re-embraced the striker at the end of October after a two-month stop, only to lose him a few days later due to a relapse.
