The New Zealander lost on points to the Englishman back in 2018, the same year he was unsuccessful against former champion Anthony Joshua.
It has been a mixed bag for Parker since then, with two solid victories over heavy-hitter Derek Chisora (39) and a TKO victory over Australian Alex Leapai (43) bookended by a defeat to Joe Joyce (37) in September of last year.
Parker will face another Briton in Massey on the Eubank Jr v Smith card on Saturday at Manchester's AO Arena, and he knows he needs a big performance to secure a rematch with Whyte.
Whyte gave the former WBO heavyweight champion the second defeat of his professional career, although the British slugger was put on the mat by Parker in the final round of the contest.
Now, he is seeking revenge should he be successful this weekend.
Speaking at the media workout, Parker told Sky Sports: "The dream fight would obviously be to fight for a world title, but I want to fight Dillian Whyte again.
"It was a great, tough first fight, he got the win, awesome for him and I'd like to avenge that loss."
Whether or not Whyte would be interested in a rematch is another question, but Parker is open to fighting other leading names sitting within the division.
"Get past Jack Massey, there's Michael Hunter (34) calling me out. If no one wants to fight Joyce, I'll fight him again, but I have to take care of business first."
Massey has moved up from cruiserweight to heavyweight and has won 20 of his 21 career fights so far, with Parker quick to show he won't be underestimating the English fighter.
"It's a bit of the unknown what he's going to come in as weight-wise. I'm respecting him because a fighter who's going to come up is confident in themselves," Parker stated.
"There are a lot of cruiserweights that have done great, I'm not saying he's one of them but there's potential to do some good stuff in the heavyweight division.
"I'm approaching it like every other fight, like it's the championship of the world. When you approach a fight like that and you take every fight seriously, you're going to be in the best condition and that's what I've done in this camp."
