Erling Haaland after his gala performance: 'My superpower is scoring goals'

RB Leipzig went down 7-0 to Manchester City on Tuesday evening. The disaster already took its course in the first half after Erling Haaland scored three times and the decision on the quarter-finalists had already been made. "This is a terrific night. Scoring five goals myself and seven goals in total - I'm so happy. I don't even remember the goals - I just scored," Haaland expressed after the match. When asked about his superpower, he replied in his usual flippant manner: "My superpower? I think after scoring five goals, it's scoring goals," said the former Dortmund player, who then gave a little more insight into his life. "I don't think too much, I just want to put the ball in the net. It' s all about being quick and reacting. Of course, it's also about quality. But a lot of it is in the head."

Pep Guardiola was delighted with his team's performance: "We were incredible. Our high pressing was insane. We created a lot of problems for Leipzig and played very well with and without the ball," said Guardiola, who also had a few words for his star striker:"He's an incredible guy and was really good."
